It’s not new to us that customers are more informed and connected than ever. Their laptops, tablets and mobile phones are flooded with content, with search and display ads, making it easy to obtain all the information they need. The challenge is how to stand out from the crowd? 

66-99% of consumers have already searched and obtained all the information they needed to compare and decide what product their going purchase even before they enter a store.

Do you offer your customer all the information he needs throughout his purchase journey? Or just the basics - name, picture and price? Costumers expect more!

Define a strategy, plan your content according to your costumer’s journey - What costumer do you want to talk with? What products do you want to emphasize and how can we connect? What are the trends? What themes can we work on?  These are questions you have to answer before you start planning.

And when you have that figured out, take every trend to your advantage, even the ones outside your market.

Example: You have an online clothing store and "50 shades of grey" has just premiered. The search hits for "50 shades of grey" at this time are massive, why not premiere "50 shades of grey" of your on? A dedicated page called 50 shades of grey where you have all of your grey items related with quotes form the movie?

Your content can create brand awareness, leads, online and in-store purchases and so much more. Work on it and improve it each day.
